Showfit runs 5 days a week from 9.30am am till 3pm for 40 weeks in 2011.
Showfit has been developed for and is aimed at the person who strives to be a true all round performer. From our extensive industry knowledge and experience we know the majority of performers have simply been exposed to a single discipline when entering a class room; either a dance class, a singing lesson or drama class and challenging this “single discipline‟ mentality is where we will differ from the rest.
Showfit follows the Centrestage philosophy of having the creative team (director, choreographer and musical director) present in the classroom whenever possible, creating a more realistic Musical Theatre rehearsal situation.
Showfit promises to provide a revolutionary training ground because we value the mind-set of the dancer, singer and actor. The Showfit curriculum will be created to support the needs of the individual performer. Blending the 3 disciplines of acting/singing/dancing we will redefine the essence of the “all round performer”.
