THEN SHOWFIT IS THE COURSE FOR YOU!

A Centrestage initiative, Showfit is a 12 month fulltime Musical Theatre course for students with a strong skill base in performing arts and an openness to developing all three areas of acting, singing and dancing equally. The notion of becoming a triple threat is the driving thread throughout the year. Directors, Simon Gleeson and Leanne White lead respected industry professionals from both Australia and overseas to provide the very best all round training.

Showfit offers the perfect means to develop the performer’s craft to increase confidence and skills. Mid year, students take part in a studio-based showing of their work that encompasses all three disciplines and then work with professional directors/musical directors/choreographers towards an end of year showcase presented at The Malthouse Theatre to friends & family, general public, prospective agents, casting agents and industry professionals.

What a wonderful panel we had for the final Showfit Mock Auditions for 2012. The panel consisted of John McTiernan, Kellie Rode, Susan-Ann Walker, Stephen Lopez, Nicole Gulasekharam and John Lander. A very informatative, warm and honest panel finishing off the year’s auditions on a very postive note. Thank you to our wonderful panel!
